2016 brought 4789 miles, 312 working hours, 25 couples married and one really exciting award. Tiffany And I are truly blessed and happy to announce that Lindley’s Photography has been awarded the Knots 2017 “best of weddings”, this is our seventh Best of weddings award by the knot and this award is awarded to only 2% of wedding professionals on TheKnot.com and to say we are proud to be part of that is an understatement.
The year brought us to aquariums, parks, country clubs, resorts and a zoo. To the mountains and to the city and even New York! We got a front seat ticket to some of the happiest, most emotional moments of people’s lives. We were entrusted to capture fleeting moments and though we would like to take credit we really can’t, the most beautiful pictures are a result of a moment that happens in front of our lens and the moment is not our own but the responsibility to freeze it and to keep it forever is. This wedding gives everyone a reason to love the colour pink! This bride decided to go with a colour scheme that would pop (plus its her favourite colour!). The bride’s roses accented the bridesmaids gowns beautifully.
We love the burlap runners on the table and the hanging glass bulbs. It was a beautiful affair, one that the guests in attendance will always remember!

"Fate doesn't care about your plans". Many of us make plans, for tomorrow, next week, next month and Dustin and Emily were no different. Their plans didn't always include each other but after Dustin survived a horrible accident, fate would have it that Emily would be drawn to his side and that she would never leave it. Legacy Point at Lake Lanier Islands Resort provided the perfect backdrop for Evan & Elizabeth as they shared their personalized wedding vows to one another and said their "I do's". Their wedding party consisted of all family members which made the ceremony all the more special to them and everyone involved. This year Lindley's Photography was given the incredible opportunity to travel to one of our favorite places in the world to photograph a wedding. {Engaged} Parker & Kady December1, 2013
Parker & Kady were so much fun to spend an evening with in Atlanta! They opted for an evening engagement shoot that began at The Georgian Terrace. As we were about to leave to go to our second location Parker casually asks if we mind taking a few pictures with their car. Of course we agreed, and when he pulled around in his 1965 Mustang we were pretty excited! It was a real beauty and we had a blast taking pictures of this stunning couple with such a classic {gorgeous} muscle car! Our adventure didn’t end there, we were really able to use our creative juices during this shoot and Parker & Kady were so easy going and excited that fun and love just pour out of these images! Parker and Kady are set to get married this November at the lovely Georgian Terrace in Atlanta, Georgia. We couldn’t be more excited about this upcoming wedding and we really hope you enjoy some of our favorite images from their session!

Last year was quite busy for Lindley’s Photography, we had the honor of capturing wedding days that had a guest count of 10 all the way up to a guest count of 300. We shot weddings at intimate chapels tucked away perfect for privacy and at some of Atlanta’s most luxurious hotels and venues. Going to new areas and seeing new places is a huge part of why we absolutely love what we do.
One of those {gorgeous} venues that we were able to visit for the very first time was Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club in Douglasville, GA. From the friendly, helpful staff to the stunning view of wooded hills and rolling lawns we were truly just blown away by this venue!
With all of that said, we were super excited to find out that Foxhall Resort chose an image that we captured on the wedding day of Michael & Aurrie to advertise their venue in Modern Luxury Bride Magazine. What a absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding, and we are pleased they felt our image captured the essence of this location. It absolutely didn’t hurt that Michael & Aurrie were so easy to work with, madly in love with each other and just as beautiful together as the venue they chose to start this new chapter in their lives.

It’s no secret that The Knot has been a powerful player in the success at Lindley’s Photography. We value the relationship that we have with our Knot Client Relations team and appreciate the continued support that they offer our company.
When I was asked a few weeks ago to speak at The Knot Mixer in Atlanta Georgia I was beyond thrilled and honored. It meant a lot to be recognized by such an incredible company and staff. So on Monday, November 4th, Tiffany and I spent the day with some incredible wedding professionals (thank you BB!) and I was able to share some insight and best practices that I have learned along the way as a professional Wedding Photographer. I knew that I would enjoy sharing my stories and giving advice, but I did not expect that I myself would learn so much that I could bring back to share with the members of my team at Lindley’s Photography. So thank you so much to those of you who worked so hard to make the event into a beautiful reality, including The Knot team, Jessica, Jessica & Wendy. Like any other company we love an occasional pat on the back and to receive industry accolades and awards but it is not our driving force or our focus. We do what we do because of the moment that occurs in a split second when a father looks across the room at this now woman that he has poured his entire being into to get her to this point, and wipes a tear away. It’s the way that the groom holds his new bride and that they gets so lost in holding each other that they forget we are even around. Success to our company is when our brides and grooms, along with their bridal party and families tell us that we have made their day a truly incredible experience. That they can’t wait to share their images with those they loved most for years and years to come. There is no greater reward to Lindley’s Photography than that.
I feel so blessed by God and could not of gotten here without my talented (and just as passionate) team which include my wife Tiffany and the Avery sisters, Tiffany and Hannah. Behind the scenes and also a huge part of our team we have our designer Stephanie. Last but not least we can honestly say we have the chance to work and photograph the greatest couples on the planet, you are why we exist.

This wedding was as heartfelt as it was beautiful! Two stunning people from great families getting married at the luscious (all-new) grounds of Ashton Gardens in Atlanta Georgia. We knew this was going to be a wedding to remember. Reed + Lauren are truly such a great match and throughout the day they were full of love, joy and excitement. Their love is based on their undeniable faith, values and mutual respect for one another and it was our absolute pleasure to capture them getting ready, their first look, their wedding prayer (which was so beautiful) and every other big and little detail of their special day.
We look forward to what is to come for this amazing duo and are proud to have played a small part in the big plan that God has in store for their lives as husband and wife.

For the past few months we have had the honor of getting to know our Praise and Worship leader Greg Harris and his family better. Greg and his wife Gail are parents to five beautiful children and anyone who knows them can clearly see their passion for their family and for God.
Greg has recently begun on a journey with his family that they have named the “Greg Harris Project”. Greg felt it was time to take a leap of Faith and has recently recorded his very first Christian album, which of course we were very supportive of and excited about. When they reached out to us to assist with creating Greg’s album cover, we were very excited and knew we wanted to be a part of what Greg and his family were doing.

Sometimes it is nice to just get out and shoot with no time constraints or schedule.
This past weekend we had the privilege of going out with two models and doing a, “for the love of photography shoot”.
Moving slow, enjoying the sound of the shutter of the camera, perfecting the bad, and enjoying the good as the sunsets on the skyline of Macon.

Many things bring couples together and connect them. It could be a shared loved for movies, pets, books, coffee or even worms.
Yes, we said worms! That is exactly what brought our bride and groom-to-be together. Allison shared with us that she was in the first few days of a new class and had to put together a short film, in a very short period of time about worms. She really needed a partner and was not having much luck, and then she met Andrew. Andrew offered to help Allison and after a little bit of consideration she accepted him as her partner for this project. Andrew and Allison shared their story with us as we walked the campus of Macon State during their engagement session, as they recalled the details of that day and laughed thinking about it, there was no denying the pure love and adoration that this couple has for each other.
We could not be more excited to be welcomed into the lives of this couple. Though we were not there as they became partner’s on their worm project, we can’t wait to be there with them shortly as they become partner’s in life as husband and wife.

From the moment we stepped onto the beautiful grounds of Farley Plantations on March 9th, 2013 to capture the wedding of Chris & Melissa we could feel the excitement and love that has been leading up to this very special day.

“My wedding was 1/20/2013 in Macon, GA at the Hay House. I can’t even begin to imagine what the day would have been like without Jared & his team. To say that these photographers went above & beyond is an understatement. They weren’t just in the background taking photos. These guys ran my wedding. Even before the Big Day Jared was able to answer some non-photo related questions that I had & was happy to do so. From the second that I arrived at my venue Jared, Tiffany & Tiffany (yes, 2 Tiffanys!) went into action. As the night went on each of them were there to not only take the most amazing photos, but to guide my wedding party & I, answer any question I had & calm my nerves. We had a great time capturing such precious memories with Michael and Kristen on their special day at Lockerly Arboretum in Milledgeville, Georgia. The weather was absolutely gorgeous which made our job easy. We started the day inside as the ladies helped the bride prepare for her day. Next we made our way to the lake where the intimate vow and sand ceremony took place. Next, the bridal party and family made their way to the front of the venue to take formal pictures, but we also had time to catch a few of the silly moments. Afterwards, we snuck off with Michael and Kristen and his classic car, and were able to catch some great moments with the two as newlyweds. Thank you so much for letting us be apart of such a memorable day and letting us capture the sweet moments that will last a lifetime.
