THE KNOT REVEALS HALL OF FAME: THE BEST OF THE BEST IN WEDDING INDUSTRY  Georgia  (October 2013) – The Knot Wedding Network, which is composed of the top two wedding websites, TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com, today announces the first-of-its-kind wedding industry Hall of Fame for the all-time best wedding vendors across the United States. This honorable list of 331 inductees includes less than 2 percent of wedding professionals.  

Lindley’s Photography is the only wedding photography company in the state of Georgia to be honored with this award.   Carley Roney, co-founder of TheKnot.com., said “We’re beyond thrilled to induct our first-ever Hall of Fame, crowning the best of the best across the country, based on more than 725,000 reviews from real brides.”

It is hard to even put into words how much receiving this honor means to me, personally and professionally.  Over the course of the nine years that I have owned Lindley’s Photography I have had an unchanging passion and desire to tell a story.  Not my story, not the story that is getting the most buzz on social media or the most attention on the highest of platforms, but the unfolding story of the two people who trust me and my company with one of the most important celebrations of their lives.  Like any other company we love an occasional pat on the back and to receive industry accolades and awards but it is not our driving force or our focus.  We do what we do because of the moment that occurs in a split second when a father looks across the room at this now woman that he has poured his entire being into to get her to this point, and wipes a tear away.  It’s the way that the groom holds his new bride and that they gets so lost in holding each other that they forget we are even around.  Success to our company is when our brides and grooms, along with their bridal party and families tell us that we have made their day a truly incredible experience.  That they can’t wait to share their images with those they loved most for years and years to come.  There is no greater reward to Lindley’s Photography than that.

I feel so blessed by God and could not of gotten here without my talented (and just as passionate) team which include my wife Tiffany and the Avery sisters, Tiffany and Hannah. Behind the scenes and also a huge part of our team we have our designer Stephanie.  Last but not least we can honestly say we have the chance to work and photograph the greatest couples on the planet, you are why we exist.

There is nothing better than being madly in love with doing what you love for a living, I truly believe and live by this.
